Mets 9, Rays 1: R.A. Dickey set a franchise record for scoreless innings after tossing a one-hit gem with a career-high 12 strikeouts as visiting New York throttled Tampa Bay for the second straight game.

Dickey (10-1), who became baseball's first 10-game winner, moved past Jerry Koosman after running his streak to 32 2/3 scoreless innings. The veteran knuckleballer allowed a two-out infield single to B.J. Upton in the first inning and retired the next 22 batters before third baseman David Wright's error allowed Elliot Johnson to reach base in the ninth.

The scoreless streak ended after a pair of passed balls moved Johnson to third before Desmond Jennings' RBI groundout plated the unearned run. Dickey settled for his second career one-hitter.

Daniel Murphy had a two-run single for the second straight game and Omar Quintanilla and Wright added two-run base hits for the Mets, who have won two in a row after dropping six of their previous seven.

After mustering just one hit in four innings, the Mets erupted in the fifth versus David Price (8-4). Mired in a 2-for-39 slump, Mike Nickeas opened the scoring with an RBI single and Murphy deposited a low fastball into right field to plate Nickeas and Andres Torres.

New York recorded six consecutive hits in the sixth inning to pick up four more runs, capped by Quintanilla's two-run single to center field.

Upton's infield single extended his hitting streak to nine games for the Rays, who have dropped two in a row following a four-game winning streak.
